What a Non-League Kit Room Taught Us About Sourcing: An Ontonson Case Study
How a non-league club used a research journal to spec, source, and test a full season of kit — with measurable results on cost, shrinkage, and returns.
We noticed something odd in the club shop last autumn. The replica shirts felt different — softer, lighter, but also less forgiving around the seams after a few washes. A reader shared the same complaint, and rather than shrug it off, we followed the supply chain backwards.
